Equality and Diversity Policy

Introduction

Equality and diversity are not optional extras for Pollination Campaigns. They are an integral part of our business model, strategic objectives and delivery plans. The real test of our commitment to delivering equality and embracing diversity is what we actually do in practice. We however also recognise the need for a public statement so people inside and outside our company can be clear about our ethos and the standards we demand.

We recognise a genuine equal opportunities environment is a continuous process and that we must continually adapt. This statement is a living document that will be changed over time.

Pollination Campaigns will also not discriminate against any person or group on the basis of their martial status, economic or education status, trade union membership or geographical location.

Pollination Campaigns recognizes that people have multiple identities and that discrimination occurs within groups of people who are themselves discriminated against. We also will take account of the fact that some people are unable to disclose an identity for fear of further discrimination.

Implementation

Everybody working within the umbrella of Pollination Campaigns will be given a copy of this policy. It is a condition of anyone working with Pollination Campaigns that they are responsible for the implementation of this policy. Breaches of this policy will be regarded as misconduct and could lead to termination of contracts or withdrawal of agreements. Anyone who feels they have been discriminated against should raise the matter with the project manager. Initially the project manager should aim to resolve the matter informally. If they are dissatisfied with the outcome, the complaint is very serious, or the project manager is the cause of the complaint the matter should be raised with the Directors of the company.
